Code Enforcement

The City of Union enforces municipal ordinances and zoning regulations to protect public health, safety, and the quality of life for all residents. City ordinances cover a range of topics including property maintenance, nuisances, noise, animal control, ATV use, and land use standards.

Municipal Code

The full City of Union Municipal Code is available online through American Legal Publishing:

The Municipal Code contains all adopted city ordinances, including zoning regulations, building standards, and public health and safety requirements.

Code Enforcement Officer

The Code Enforcement Officer position is currently vacant. Code enforcement inquiries and violation reports are being handled through City Hall.

How to Report a Violation

If you believe a property or activity is in violation of a city ordinance, contact City Hall:

When reporting a violation, please provide:

  • The address or location of the violation
  • A description of the issue
  • Your contact information (optional, but helpful for follow-up)

All reports are reviewed by city staff.
